On 21 April 2016, a group of journalists and representatives of the European Commission were invited to the Gesellschaft fuer Simulatorschulung mbH (GfS) in Essen. The project coordinator Dieter Brillert and GfS project partner Michael Seewald presented the sCO2-HeRo project, its objectives and methods and demonstrated an accident scenario in the glass model.

Photo consortium on kick-off meetingThe project consortium met in September 2015 for the first meeting. The project sCO2-HeRo brought together 15 scientists and engineers from six partners. Over the course of three days, the trans-disciplinary team discussed the work plan of  the sCO2-HeRo project for the next three years.
In several sessions, the tasks and work packages as well as the overall management and dissemination activities will be discussed in detail.
